Luxury Sheepskins, Premium Cowhides, Fine Leather Products, and Hand-Knit Woollens

Having been on a recent visit to the Lake District I had seen the fantastic Herdwick sheep and wished I had bought one of their beautiful skins while I was there. I contacted Rick at the shop and explained exactly what type and shade of rug I would like and he assured me he would pick me a good one! He certainly did! It arrived today and I am absolutely thrilled! I would recommend this shop to anybody.

Wow this shop has more choice than Harrods!!! If you want any sort of a sheepskin product it can't be beaten for price or quality. The owner knows his stock down to the last detail and gives wonderful input to your final choice. Really delighted with my purchase. Thank you.

Having always wanting a reindeer hide, I use some Christmas money to treat myself I went on line found this shop knowing where it was in Ambleside but never been in, so I went ahead and ordered one never got a email back to confirm the order but the next day the rug arrived, it's great I'm so pleased with it. Popped in for a quick look and ended up buying a lovely Herdwick skin. Very friendly and helpfull, a good choice to choose from in all the different breeds, well worth a visit just to look and touch even if you dont buy.

This place has lots of sheepskin and hide products ranging from jackets to slippers to rugs. We bought a fabulous Herdwick rug which looks great on a pale carpet. If you want to do something to help local traders and farmers think about buying a product here, preferably one sourced from the surrounding fells. The guy who runs this shop is very knowledgeable and so get chatting to him!
